Ben Affleck officially the new Batman
Ben Affleck will take up the role as Batman in the Batman vs Superman film due to release in 2015.
The confirmation today ended weeks of rumour and speculation where actors such as Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Orlando Bloom and even Christian Bale had been rumoured to have been in running for the role.
