Prey 2, Dishonored 2 being made by Arkane Studios?

Leaked e-mails obtained by Kotaku has seemingly confirms that Arkane Studios, the people behind the critically acclaimed stealth game Dishonored, are working on the heavily delayed sci-fi FPS Prey 2. There had been rumours that Arkane were developing Prey 2 however Bethesda quickly denied the claims.

The highly talented developers now consist of two studios, one located in Lyon, France and the other in Austin, Texas.

A sequel or successor to the the Dishonored franchise is apparently being made in the Lyon studio according to a source familiar with the project.

The Austin based studio meanwhile is apparently on pre-production to reboot Prey 2.

Originally scheduled to release in 2012 Prey 2 has had a troubled development and has been delayed several times. There is a high chance that it will also end up as a next generation game.
