WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
10. Gus's flashback (Season 4 Episode 8 'Hermanos')
For the whole of season 4 Gus was presented as the bad guy we were meant to hate, the one you wanted to see dead. But in this flashback that explains the origin of Gus's hate of the cartel we actually feel sorry for the drug boss/ chicken shop owner. We see after a fairly civil meeting with Don Eladio, Gus's longtime friend Max get brutally shot in the head by Hector Salamanca and Gus is forced to watch.
9. Hank gets Shot (Season 3 Episode 7 'One Minute')
It's pretty clear that the Salamanca twins will not rest until they get revenge for their cousin Tuco's death. In an effort to get the dangerous twins off of Walt's back he tells them to kill Walt's DEA brother-in-law Hank, who was the one who actually killed Tuco. After being suspended for beating Jesse to a pulp Hank has no weapons to defend himself. After being riddled with bullets Hank manages to cripple one of the twins by running him over and shoot the other before he is hacked to death.
8. Jane's Death (Season 2 Episode 12 'Phoenix')
This would be the moment well Walt started to lose himself. Jane, Jesse's girlfriend and follow addict was dangerous. She blackmailed Walt and manipulated Jesse better than even Walt could. One night Walt goes to Jesse's apartment concerned about his health and finds both Jesse and Jane passed out on bed after recently injecting some Heroin. In an effort to help Jesse Walt shakes him and tries to wake him up, in doing this he accidentally knocks Jane on to her front, then she starts choking on her vomit. Walt instinctively tries to help her, but refrains thinking it would be much easier without her alive.
7. Mike's Silent Death (Season 5 Episode 7 'Say My Name')
This cemented a lot of peoples hate of Walt. In what looked like what was going to be fairly calm goodbye between Walt and Mike turns into an extremely sad death of one of the shows best characters. Things start going sour when Walt demands a 'thank you', Mike then rants at Walt after this outrageous demand. When Mike gets in his car Walt walks up to the window and shoots Mike. After following Mike to the edge of a river Walt shows regret at his decision at which point Mike says "Shut the fuck up, and let me die in peace". To which Walt complies.
6. It's not Meth (Season 1 Episode 6 'Crazy Handful of Nothin')
This was Walt's first badass moment in the series. As he starts out in the Meth business Walt meets a few speedbumps, mainly the clash with drug pedaller Tuco. In his first meeting with the drug boss, it seems like Walt is walking into certain death. Instead he uses an insanely clever method of science to turn in what seems like Meth into an explosive, almost destroying Tuco's base. He walks out with his life and a lot of cash. At this moment Heisenburg was born.
5. Jesse shoots Gale (Season 3 Episode 13 'Full Measure')
After Jesse becomes clean of drugs Walt gets a new assistant, Gale Boetticher. He's the complete opposite of Jesse and him and Walt get along well. But after Walt learns plans that Gus intends to kill both Walt and Jesse and replace them with Gale. Walt realises he needs to kill Gale to live, but as he is kidnapped by Mike it is Jesse who would have to do the deed in a turning point for the character he walks up to Gale's door clearly broken and shoots him.
4. Run (Season 3 Episode 12 'Half Measures')
As Walt and Jesse's relationship with Gus falls apart Jesse learns of two goons involvement with the murder of his new girlfriends child brother. Taking matters into his own hands Jesse walks up to them with a gun behind his back but before he can even aim Walt saves the day by running the two bodyguards over. And all he has to say is one word to send chills down our spines. "RUN".
3. I Am The One Who Knocks (Season 4 Episode 6 'Cornered')
After constant inquiry about his line of work from his wife Skyler, Walt finally opens up about how powerful he is. Telling his wife that he is not in danger, he is the danger. This really showed Walt's transformation from cancer-stricken teacher to drug boss.
2. Gus Dies (Season 4 Episode 13 'Face Off')
This scene will go down as one of the most iconic in T.V history. After trying and failing several times to kill the villainous drug boss it seemed like Gus was invincible. But after strapping explosives to Gus' nemesis Hector Salamanca's wheelchair Walt finally managed to kill Gus. But in a strange turn of events Gus walks out seemingly unharmed, but as the camera moves to the front of Gus we see half of his face is blown off.
